Client Case: French Company Operating in the Oil & Gas Sector
2010 – 2014
The client established a branch office in Tunisia as part of an oil drilling project in the country. The mission of IPC was to:
- Act as the client’s representative with suppliers and customers
- Supervise the administrative procedures of the branch office
- Monitor invoicing and payments with the client
- Oversee operational and logistical needs during project execution
- Conduct business development and respond to tenders in Tunisia and in target markets defined by the client, including commercial prospecting missions in several countries such as Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Gabon, Sudan, Uganda, Iraqi Kurdistan, the UAE, China, Spain, France, and Turkey
- Supervise the demobilization of the client’s equipment at the end of projects (freight forwarding, land and sea transport, customs procedures)
2015 – 2017
The client asked IPC to focus on the Algerian market. IPC’s mission included:
- Identifying business opportunities in Algeria
- Searching for a local partner
- Participating in tenders in Algeria
- Acting as the client’s representative in Algeria
- Signing a partnership agreement with an Algerian partner
We successfully secured a contract through a joint venture in Algeria. In this context, IPC’s mission was to:
- Lead negotiations with the client
- Recruit personnel in Algeria
- Supervise operations
- Respond to all requests from the client during project execution
- Monitor invoicing (both client and suppliers)
